Digital Marketing Specialist, Intern (Chinese Market)

Are you a talented digital marketing professional with a passion for creating impactful content and executing successful campaigns? We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team and support the planning, development, and execution of digital marketing strategies for our homemade food delivery marketplace. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team and help drive the growth of our business through innovative and effective marketing initiatives. This role reports to Digital Marketing Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve business goals

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content for the company's social media channels (RED Book, Wechat) 

  • Manage and grow CookOut's presence on social media platforms, including content creation and curation, community management, and reporting

  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends

  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, and adjust strategies as needed

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement for CookOut.

Required Qualifications 

  • Education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution

  • Experience in creating visually appealing designs using Canva; Experience in video editing to create engaging and informative short videos

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese, with the ability to create engaging and effective content

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Passion for food or cooking is a plus 

  • Experience working with small businesses or startups is a plus
